Study of New Activation Technology for DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and Video Games Projects Up to $6 Billion in Increased Sales

Study Shows Retailers, Studios, and Game Publishers Will All Benefit from the Technology

ENCINO, CA (June 22, 2009) … The Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) today announced the results of a study by Capgemini (registration required) analyzing the advantages of adopting "benefit denial" technology that would disable DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and video games until unlocked at the point of sale.

The report is the second part of a project commissioned in 2008 (requires IE) by the Entertainment Merchants Association, titled "Project Lazarus: Study of Benefit Denial."

Lot of 30 Sealed High School Musical 3 Senior Year DVDs

This DVD lot is great for resale. Right now the bidding is up to $89.99 plus $14.99 for shipping (total $104.98) that's $3.50 each per DVD. This DVD is a new release still so the price will probably end higher. I would keep an eye on this item. Watch this item
